Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — TV and film star Jason Momoa is slated to visit the Philippines for the AsiaPOP Comicon 2015 (APCC) to be held on September 17 to 19 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Momoa shot to mainstream fame for his portrayal of the Dothraki war lord Khal Drogo in the hit TV series Game of Thrones and is set to play Aquaman in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The Hawaiian actor got his first taste of show business when he was discovered by designer Takeo Kobayashi as a model, before eventually making his debut on television as Jason Ioane in Baywatch Hawaii.

Momoa also received plaudits for his stint in the military science fiction series Stargate Atlantis as Ronon Dex.

Not content with a performing on camera, Mamoa also made his debut as a director, producer, and writer with the film Road to Paloma, which he ended up starring in as well.

Apart from Momoa, the voice actor of Finn of Adventure Time Jeremy Shada is also set to make an appearance at the APCC.
