Coldplay confirms Philippine concert in 2017

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — British rock band Coldplay is adding Asian stops to their "A Head Full Of Dreams" tour — and the Philippines is one of them.

The band, led by vocalist Chris Martin, is performing in Manila on April 4, 2017 (Tuesday) at the Mall of Asia concert grounds in Pasay.

The news was confirmed on the band's website on Tuesday morning.

The Asian stops include Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, which will all happen in April.

Tickets will go on sale on November 24 at 10 a.m. via SM Tickets. But Globe and Citi will hold a pre-sale on November 20, 21, and 22.

Tickets prices are as follows:

  • VIP - ₱22,500
  • Platinum - ₱17,500
  • Gold - ₱12,500
  • Silver - ₱7,500
  • Bronze - ₱3,500
  • General Admission - ₱1,800

Fans can feel all the shivers as the band's tour setlist includes hit songs and fan faves "Fix You," "The Scientist," "Yellow," and "Paradise."
