Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 20) — Philippine boy band TNT Boys finally met their idol, American pop star Ariana Grande — which was made possible by TV host James Corden.

The trio of Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion guested on "The Late, Late Show with James Corden." The clip was shared on the show's Facebook page on Wednesday.

Corden shared an anecdote why he decided to give this treat to his "favorite new boy band on planet Earth."

"I came to meet you... Your first words were, "Oh my God, you've met Ariana Grande."

The boys gushed about Grande, clueless about the fact that she was watching them backstage.

The young boy band, who made their start on TV competition "Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids," belted out Jennifer Hudson's "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going."

Then the pop star emerged on stage and started singing with the boys. Despite the surprise, the TNT Boys continued with their performance, while uttering their disbelief.

The love was mutual; Grande also expressed her admiration for the Filipino singers.

"I am obsessed with you, guys. You are so incredible. That was so beautiful," she said.
