Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Zalora launches its first-ever collaboration with the IT Girls, The_Edit. The wardrobe collection comprises of 60 pieces personally curated by the girls themselves. "We came up with The_Edit as a name because we're branded as the IT girls. Although none of us really like that title, The_Edit still has IT. Also, if you saw the logo, it's how you perceive your edit. We wanted to make sure our pieces match whatever anyone has at home because it's nice to really find your own twist to the collection. And in the future, it can be 'The Georgina Edit,' 'The Solenn Edit,'-we might have smaller capsule collections. It's a nice label we can play around with," Solenn Heussaff says.

With full creative control, the IT Girls, Solenn Heussaff-Bolzico, Georgina Wilson-Burnand, Isabelle Daza-Semblat and Liz Uy fused their different personalities and styles into one perfect capsule collection. "We came up with The_Edit in a selfish way because we want all the pieces for ourselves," Solenn jokes.

More importantly, they wanted to create a collection fit for the everyday Filipina. They distinctly wanted pieces that would help make women's lives easier. Belle shares, "We wanted reliable, timeless clothes that were fit for the modern Filipina. We carefully selected the colors that we wanted and the cuts, which were very important for us." Liz Uy adds "I think the silhouette that would fit all of us, meaning we would want to share it to everyone else. It's not just for us, but for you, for her, for your best friend, for your mom, everyone can wear it."

The IT Girls are thrilled about this first-of-its kind capsule collection and we can only expect more to come. "I'm most excited to see it on people. I'm excited to see people walking around wearing it. And in terms of pieces I'm really excited to see the shoes on everybody, I feel like that would be really exciting," Georgina shares.
