Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 3) — GlobalPort Batang Pier and star guard Terrence have ended their five-year relationship in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), the league announced on its website Tuesday.

The Batang Pier dealt the prolific scorer Romeo and center Yousef Taha to the TNT KaTropa in exchange for Fil-Tongan Moala Tautuaa and KaTropa's 2020 first round pick and 2021 second round pick.

The 26-year-old Romeo was the fifth pick in the 2013 PBA Draft by GlobalPort. He was a three-time All-Star and three-time scoring champion both from 2015 to 2017.

Tautuaa, on the other hand, is a third year big man who was the top overall pick in the 2015 PBA Draft.

Romeo will bolster a loaded TNT guard rotation which includes Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, RR Garcia, and Jericho Cruz.

The 6-foot-8 Tautuaa is expected to give more height to Batang Pier's frontcourt together with Kelly Nabong and Bradwyn Guinto.
